All plans include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. If you don’t convert, your data stays available for 30 days, then is permanently deleted. When you cancel, you keep full export access for 30 days, followed by 60 days of dormant retention before permanent deletion — full details in our Subscription & Data Lifecycle Terms. 14 days to explore, then 30 days to export

No credit card required to start. If you decide not to convert, your account goes read-only for 30 days so you can export everything you entered. We send reminders at 7, 3, and 1 day before deletion so nothing gets lost on accident.

While you’re a customer

Your data is yours, and it stays isolated

We never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your staff records to train AI. Every customer’s records are isolated from every other customer’s at the database layer — not just by application code. Voice dictation audio is discarded within seconds; it is never written to disk on our servers.

When you cancel

30 days to export. 60 days dormant. Then deletion.

Day 1–30: full read-only access and in-app export, free. Day 31–90: data held in secured dormant storage — you can still reactivate or request an export. Day 91: permanent deletion from active systems. Rolling backups purge within roughly 35 days after.

Need longer retention for pending litigation, an HR claim, or a regulatory inquiry? Email legal@thestaffdevapp.com before the 90-day deletion window closes.
